AESH is the artist moniker of Delhi-based DJ, vocalist, musician, and sonic storyteller Esha Mehta, whose sets blur the lines between groove, emotion, and movement. Rooted in her journey as a singer, vocalist, and guitarist, her approach to DJing is deeply harmonic, weaving together disco, afro, classic house, amapiano, jazz textures, R&B, and nu-disco with instinctive fluidity, while occasionally diving into heavier shades of UK garage, trance, acid, and liquid funk. Her musical background extends across multiple instruments, giving her a natural understanding of melody, harmony, rhythm, and arrangement. Balancing warmth with high-energy club moments, AESH crafts sets that are both emotionally immersive and rhythmically driven, shaped by a strong sense of musical storytelling and dynamic progression. About Mix- A one-hour journey through bright, warm, and vibrant shades of house and disco, built around groove, movement, and a little bit of playful unpredictability. The mix weaves together feel-good disco house with different textures of house music, gradually moving through funky grooves, rolling percussion, acid-tinged moments, and colourful rhythmic details. For nearly two decades, Nikshith Shetty, professionally known as Knique, has been an important figure in Bangalore’s underground music scene as a DJ and educator. His well-researched sets explore Detroit house and techno, unfolding like aural stories that highlight the genre’s culture. Prioritizing musicality, he blends soothing chords, soulful harmonies, and understated drum patterns with deep basslines and dub-infused textures to create a sound rooted in soul and simplicity. Knique started Booth Without Borders in 2022, an infrequent genre space dedicated to true underground culture.
