Raised in Delhi’s underground music culture, No Mo Soul found his connection to house music through rhythm, movement, and soul. Inspired by pioneers like Larry Heard, Theo Parrish, Glenn Underground, Joe Claussell, and late Frankie Knuckles, his sets blend Soulful House, Deep House, disco grooves, and jazz-infused rhythms into an uplifting, emotionally rich journey. The name “No Mo Soul” plays on the phrase “no more soul” — reflecting how modern music can sometimes lose its warmth and human connection. Through deep grooves, raw emotion, and timeless house energy, he aims to bring that soul back to the dancefloor, keeping the spirit of underground house culture alive through music, movement, and community.

For nearly two decades, Nikshith Shetty, professionally known as Knique, has been an important figure in Bangalore’s underground music scene as a DJ and educator. His well-researched sets explore Detroit house and techno, unfolding like aural stories that highlight the genre’s culture. Prioritizing musicality, he blends soothing chords, soulful harmonies, and understated drum patterns with deep basslines and dub-infused textures to create a sound rooted in soul and simplicity. Knique started Booth Without Borders in 2022, an infrequent genre space dedicated to true underground culture.
